We have had several clients become pregnant recently and want to continue their Pilates program throughout their pregnancy… of course! I have worked with many prenatal clients and I still research and refresh my memory for Pilates and pregnancy. It is such a special time and there are many factors that are extremely important when exercising. There is a great article in the October 2008 issue of Pilates Style magazine, by their Senior Editor Deirdre Shevlin Bell who delivered a baby girl in June. Through the magic of technology and teleconferencing I had the pleasure of sitting down recently with Joan Breibart, president and co-founder of the PhysicalMind Institute. We had met a few weeks earlier for the first time when she came to a Pilates Mat class I teach at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, FL.
